What are the Belt Cleaner types?

Installed at the head pulley (before the belt leaves the pulley), primary cleaners remove the bulk of material stuck to the belt.

Best for:

For belts with mechanical fasteners or where belt damage is a concern

Features:
  • Mounted below the centre line of the head pulley
  • Positioned out of the material flow for protection
  • First line of defence against carryback

Secondary Belt Cleaners

Installed just after the head pulley, secondary cleaners remove residual fines, sticky materials, or wet sludge that primary cleaners can miss.
