MATO Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Conveyor Integrated Business Solutions (CIBS) as its new distributor in Western Australia.
The partnership will strengthen MATO’s presence across the state, and provide mining and industrial customers with greater local access to MATO’s range of conveyor belt maintenance solutions, backed by CIBS’ extensive industry experience and on-the-ground technical capabilities.
CIBS is a Western Australian-owned company delivering end-to-end conveyor solutions across the mining and industrial sectors. Its services include conveyor maintenance, belt installation and splicing, mechanical clip joins, shutdown support, breakdown assistance, pulley lagging, roller change-outs and technical support.
Through its growing fabrication division, CIBS also provides engineering, coded welding and custom-built solutions tailored to individual site and operational requirements. The business is also implementing AI-enabled technology to analyse belt wear, splice quality, downtime, inventory requirements, consolidation opportunities and equipment standardisation. The technology will help customers gain greater insight into conveyor performance and make more informed maintenance decisions.
CIBS’ local service capabilities, conveyor expertise, and emerging AI-enabled solutions complement MATO’s proven range of German-engineered belt fastening products, Australian-made belt cleaners, installation tooling and maintenance equipment. Together, MATO and CIBS will help ‘keep technology in motion’ by delivering practical, forward-thinking solutions that reduce downtime, lower maintenance costs and support reliable, long-term performance across demanding mining and industrial environments.
